5K on Saturday 10/28/2023 & 10K on Sunday 10/29/2023

The Dirty Wookie 10K & 5K is a fun Halloween weekend running event. The 5K run/ walk is on Saturday, October 28th. The 10K is on Sunday and takes runners from Wingfield Park in downtown Reno through Idlewild Park and finishing at Brewer's Cabinet Production Facility. The 10K runners can either take the shuttle (purchase required), get a ride or jog to the start line.

Runners also have the choice to participate in the Dirty Wookie Challenge...this running both the 5K and 10K races. Runners participate in the 5K on Saturday and the 10K on Sunday. Running the challenge gets you a Dirty Wookie Challenge beanie, two finisher medals ( a unique 5K medal & unique 10K medal) and TWO beers provided by the Brewers Cabinet!​

Come out for this fun event...dress up as your favorite Star Wars character or just wear a costume for this Halloween weekend!
